Christy Eddy: Preschool Teacher
Christy received her M.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Colorado and a second Masters in Curriculum. She has taught everything from Kindergarten to High School in both public and private settings. Her passions lie with outdoor and experiential education with a specialty of individualizing instruction to meet the needs of the various types of learners. She seeks to bring a community of learners together to discover their innate talents while fostering confidence, experience, and a joy of learning that transcends the classroom. Christy is also the mother of two children and along with her husband, she loves the Selkirk community.

Kelly Cox: K-1Teacher and School Director
We enthusiastically welcome Kelly to Selkirk School for the 2009-10 school year. 
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a Spanish Minor from the University of Idaho. She has teaching experience in public, charter, and private schools. She strongly believes in inquiry-based learning as well as the importance of a teacher's role in direct instruction. An active teacher that focuses on creating an effective learning environment, Kelly differentiates instruction to meet the needs of all students so that each child will succeed to the best of their ability. She creates a fun and student-centered environment where children are continually motivated to learn about the world around them. She is very excited to join the Selkirk community!
