February!
Week 1: Dental Health! Dr. Cox D.D.S. will be our guest this week, and he will be talking about how important dental health is for our body! We will be learning about teeth and will be matching animal teeth to the correct animal body (herbivores vs. carnivores). We will be working on the concept of addition all month!
Week 2: Love & Friendship! We will be reviewing ways to make new friends, keep old friends, and treat each other kindly this week. Core values will be interwoven throughout all subjects, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere in our school. HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! Week 3: We are off this week! MID-WINTER BREAK: NO SCHOOL. :)
Week 4: We will be Celebrating Dr. Seuss' birthday this week! We will be doing an Author's Study this week, learning all about our favorite author! We will also be baking fresh wheat bread this week. We will have our first READ-IN on Friday to dive into the joy of reading using our new decoding skills we have accomplished thus far in the year!
*Keep your eyes out for important dates and information on this webpage all year!

 | Idaho Math Standards | This is a great way to assess how your child is doing with their math skills. They should be comfortable and able to do all of these standards before they leave Kindergarten. |
 | Kindergarten Sight Words | Sightwords are words that are difficult or even irregular (impossible to sound out). Use this list of K sight words to help your child master the sight words to improve fluency while reading. |
